Nagesh Goud is a Gold Medalist from JNTU and a Senior Contemporary Artist from Hyderabad. He is renowned for his distinctive visual language rooted in Indian mythology & folk traditions. With several decades of practice he has exhibited widely across India and Internationally and received multiple awards. His works form part of important private collections world-wide.

Celebrated Animation Film Designer who has worked with various Academy Award-winning brands, Filmmakers and producers. He does paintings, sculpting and photography in his time off work. With a stellar career spanning Academy Award-winning brands, Bollywood films, and the gaming industry, Dhimant has left an indelible mark on the world of animation and art.

Considered as one of the most exceptional Indian artists today. A gold medallist in both BFA and MFA, His work has been showcased, collected and appreciated in the Western world as much as India. He has had more than 100 solo exhibitions abroad and numerous group exhibitions in several cities in India and abroad

Is a master artist in pencil rendering and the founder of Pencil Perceptions Academy. Renowned for his lifelike monochromatic drawings. he has been a finalist in the world’s biggest art competition for realistic artworks. As an educator, he has inspired countless artists, and his works have been commissioned, collected, and admired by many, including Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group.

Achintya Hazra is an internationally acclaimed self-taught artist, Indian Army veteran & Founder of Kalaarambh. Known for his expressive watercolors, oil & acrylic works, he has exhibited across Russia, Italy, Spain, China & beyond. His achievements include selection at the American Watercolor Society exhibition, international awards & mentoring emerging artists through workshops worldwide.

Maadhvan Goyal is a contemporary artist known for his abstract figurative artworks inspired by ancient Indian culture, spirituality & Hindu scriptures. Based in Bangalore, he works across acrylics, digital illustration, graffiti & mixed media. With over 336K Instagram followers, he is deeply admired for his distinctive visual storytelling and experimental artistic approach.

Nishikant Palande is a Mumbai-based fine artist, illustrator & mentor, graduated from Sir J.J. School of Art. Renowned for hyper-realistic portraits, expressive watercolours & urban landscapes. Earned several national and international awards. Founder of Thoughtline Design Studio & Founder of Kalaarambh, he actively mentors emerging artists through workshops, exhibitions & art initiatives.

Spread over an expansive two and a half acres of land with 52,760 sft built-up area on a hill-top, Chitramayee State Gallery of Art has 3 levels, standing unequivocally as Asia’s largest gallery with a 200 pax auditorium. And with a sprawling parking lot, the destination houses ten galleries, one library, one auditorium, a dormitory, an admin block, one conference hall and six double-bed guest rooms. All of these stand as a testament to the development and promotion of fine art, thus far.

You can give reference of Mazda Art Festival when you contact them, and they will prioritise your request. Be sure to reach out to them in advance.

You’re most welcome to visit the festival in person and experience it firsthand. That said, this does involve additional costs such as travel, hotel stay, and local expenses.
If budget is a concern, you can choose to send your artworks via courier in a rolled format. We will take care of the framing here in Hyderabad. This is a far more economical option and works well for many artists.
The choice really comes down to what matters most to you at this stage.
If you are building your portfolio, need photos for your website, content for Instagram, Meeting senior & master artists, and capturing the festival experience is important right now, then visiting in person will add a lot of value.
If you already have a strong portfolio and your focus is more on sales while staying budget-conscious, then sending your artworks via courier is a practical and efficient route. It also allows you to participate in more opportunities without needing to travel each time.
Ultimately, it’s your call as an artist. We are here to support you.

Here are the details of the Courier arrangement:
Courier & Responsibility You will be responsible for the courier charges and any associated risks. We strongly recommend using a reliable courier service such as Blue Dart for safe and timely delivery.
Dispatch Guidelines : All artworks must be sent in rolled form. We will arrange for stretching of canvas or framing of works on paper, in Hyderabad, and the cost of stretching/framing will be borne by the artist on a cost to cost basis.
Display & Return: Once we receive your artwork, it will be professionally displayed at the gallery during the event. If the artwork remains unsold, it will be returned in rolled form via the same courier service. Return courier charges will be borne by you on a cost-to-cost basis.

Please note that the setup process has been designed to be very simple & convenient for all participating artists. Artists are only required to drop off their artworks at the venue. The complete display arrangement will be handled by our team along with Curator.
We strongly urge all Hyderabad-based artists to come on Wednesday itself, which is the first day of setup, in order to avoid the last-minute rush. Outstation artists are also welcome.
For artists planning to come on Thursday, please ensure that you arrive before 5 PM positively. Setup activities need to be completed within the scheduled time, and if artworks arrive late, there is a possibility that we may only be able to arrange them after the inauguration.
As we have limited time to complete the entire gallery setup, we request all artists to hand over their artworks to the team & leave the venue thereafter so the setup process can be carried out smoothly.

Grant awards for best paintings offer financial support, recognition, increased exposure, and motivation for artists. All Participating artists are eligible for merit based awards, that will be decided by Jury with no strings attached upon receiving the award.

All exhibiting artist will receive a Certificate of Participation & Citation on website. It further helps to provide recognition, enhance credibility, boost motivation, and aid in promoting the artist’s work.
Mazda Art Festival will be covered by media and will include event articles, reviews, interviews, and features, along with highlights of the festival's exhibitions, performances, events, and other activities.

Gallery can only accommodate limited no of paintings and due to high demand each artist is restricted to exhibit max of 2 artworks and participation is on first come first serve basis.
Paintings will be hung on channels with the support of thread, which will be provided by Mazda Art Festival. However, all artworks must be framed and should have a provision to hang it. Art works on stretched canvases don't require framing, but you can frame it if you wish. Max Size 48H x 36W in inches per Artwork including frame. Max weight of the Artwork including Frame cannot exceed more than 6 KGS.
No provision for stretching the canvas or framing the artwork will be provided at the festival; artists will need to handle these requirements themselves before arriving at the gallery.
Use of adhesives or tapes for displaying any information on the Gallery wall is strictly prohibited & Lights will be adjusted by the Gallery electrician after all the artworks have been arranged by the curator.
The curator reserves the right to move artworks & easels; between galleries & corridors, anytime during the festival to enhance display, improve visitor experience, group works thematically, manage space, and ensure optimal lighting conditions are met and artists' comments on these decisions will not be entertained.
Jury will be reviewing the artworks displayed at the Gallery in person and Grant & Scholarship to Winners & Nominees will be announced for top 50 artworks across all mediums on the closing day Sunday 13 Sep 2026 at the Award Ceremony. The Jury's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
Participating artists must physically bring their artwork to the gallery on Setup day Wed 9th September 2026 – 11 AM to 5 PM or Thu 10th September 2026 – 11 AM to 5 PM and retrieve it after the festival ends. Mazda Art and State Gallery of Art will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of artwork during the Festival due to unforeseen events or circumstances. Artists are strongly encouraged to take appropriate precautions, including securing insurance for their artworks at their own expense.
We have provided information about Lion India for artist convenience only, especially who are not familiar with Hyderabad. Artists are welcome to reach out to other framing establishments if they prefer. Please note that we do not charge any commission or take responsibility for the outcome of Lion India.
Artwork featuring nudity, vulgarity, accusations of any sort, controversial subjects, or content deemed demeaning will not be allowed. This rule is in place to ensure a respectful and positive environment for all participants and attendees of different age groups. Please be aware that we reserve the right to remove any artwork from display at the festival in such scenarios.

Open to Indian Artists aged 18 and above only. Entries must be the artist's original work. Artists below 18 years of age must apply with parental or legal guardian consent.

The artwork must be entirely the artists own creation, showcasing a unique perspective or approach.

The visual harmony and overall presentation that captivates the viewer.
Technical Excellence
Demonstration of mastery in the chosen medium and techniques.
Emotional Resonance
The depth of emotion or storytelling conveyed through the artwork.
Creativity and Innovation
The imaginative elements and fresh ideas that set the work apart.
Estimated Effort
The perceived time, energy, and commitment invested in bringing the artwork to life.
Selection Rules:
No Re-Submission of Previously Awarded Artwork. Any artwork that has previously won a grant through Mazda Art cannot be re-submitted for this grant. However, the artist can submit different artwork that showcases their creativity and talent.
Unethical Content. Artwork featuring nudity, vulgarity, accusations of any sort, controversial subjects, or content deemed demeaning will not be allowed.
Plagiarised Artwork. If the artwork is found to be copied, heavily inspired without credit, or identical to another artists work, it will be disqualified. Artworks must be the original creation of the applicant, reflecting their unique ideas and efforts.
All exhibited artworks must be 100% hand-painted. The use of any form of digital printing, printed base layers or pre-printed canvases — even as an under layer or guide — is strictly prohibited. Any artwork found to incorporate such methods will be immediately disqualified from consideration.
The Jury decisions of the Awards will be final and binding to all. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
